state of Gujarat, Mundra is situated on the north shores of the Gulf of Kutch.
The Port of Mundra is not only a private port, but it is also a special
economic zone, “Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone Limited.” It is India’s
first multi-product port-based special economic zone.

flock to the Mundra Port in numbers every day for business. This one time,
while I was on an urgent assignment, I checked into The Fern Residency, Mundra.
This is one property worth writing about. There are a lot of Mundra hotels & Resorts that I’ve
checked into but The Fern Residency, Mundra stood out to me with their
exemplary service culture and impeccable hospitality. Well equipped with 74
exquisitely designed sound-proof guest rooms that reflect modern Indian
responsibility, this hotel offers all the modern amenities and facilities
necessary for a successful business traveller.
Amongst
the hotels near Mundra Port, The
Fern Residency provides the best of facilities to a discerning traveller, which
includes a fitness centre and swimming pool, gymnasium, 24 hour coffee shop,
business centre and free Wi-Fi; to mention a few. The two in-house restaurants
were the thing that caught my fancy. Laziz, the all-day dining restaurant
serves you a potpourri of cuisines like ethnic Indian, Chinese and Mughlai
while Rolling Beans is the 24 hours café lounge serving an extensive
range of aromatic coffee and sandwiches, burger, and combo fare.
Personally, I highly recommend this property. While on a trip to
