As a kid
growing up in a small city, surrounded by crazy movie buffs, I grew up studying
more about Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan, than the subjects taught in the
school. My Dad always wanted to be an actor, however, the times that he grew up
in were more like ‘don’t live your dream’ times. Anyways, he made sure that his
kids won’t have to give up on their dreams and at least one of kids would do
chase his big Bollywood dream. And as an
obedient son, I did that!

At the age
of 18, after I graduated from school, I told my dad that I wanted to move to
Mumbai to follow my dream or to be precise, his dream. I joined a film school
in Mumbai and did a lot of theater work. After a struggle of almost 3 years, I
finally landed my first big break in a art movie directed by Mr. Anurag Kashyap
and since then there has been no looking back. So far I have done 7 movies; big
and small.
After my
fifth movie made it big, I decided to help people like me live their dreams and
so I, along with a friend of mine, bought a hotel in the suburbs. There are a
lot of hotel accommodations in Mumbai,
however, for those who are new to the city hunting the right hotel can be a big
task and not to forget the prices. Being new to the hospitality industry it
took us some time to understand the pulse of the business. But once we
understood the scene there was no stopping us.
