Accommodation in Tezpur for a perfect week of bliss

When you travel to beautiful locations you need the perfect accommodations as well. As a lecturer I am required to travel across the country for seminars and talks, speak at some and simply attend some. I have had the opportunity to travel to a lot of gorgeous university campuses and they are a favorite of mine, since they encompass the youth of our country and present a very dynamic environment to experience. My latest foray into a seminar was planned at the Tezpur University and my planning started with a search for proper accommodation in Tezpur.

The Fern Residency, Tezpur

Although there were a number of options available I needed hotels near Tezpur University to minimize travelling during my stay. The Fern hotel is a comfortable distance from the university and also a great hotel. Although I was slightly skeptical because it was more business oriented and I wanted a full leisure trip, everything turned out pretty well. The stay in itself was just 4 days, but I had full day to explore Tezpur or simply bask in the beauty that is entwined with this city.

There is a lot to look forward to when in Assam, but just like any other hill station nothing beats simply sitting back and enjoying the view of the hills and the serene environment. I would say the hotel is definitely worth a try and will definitely be at par with your expectations.
